Our Team

DJ Wilson

CEO

DJ co-founded Playbook with his wife, Karianna, to help support coaches who want to participate in a new kind of clinic experience for this new era of football.

During his professional career, DJ has built and run event and digital media companies, including in health care, politics, and communications. Each enterprise sought to bridge divides rather than further them.

He brings that same effort and passion now to football and youth athletics.

DJ coaches high school football in Seattle.

Karianna Wilson

COO

Karianna is a co-founder of Playbook Clinics.

She brings the expertise from a career as a health care executive and entrepreneur.

She has led large enterprises and small, solving problems ranging from operations to finance.

At Playbook, she keeps the trains running on time, overseeing all finance and event logistics.

She’s a former competitive swimmer.

Emily Boerger

Vice President

Emily is one of the co-founders of Playbook Clinics, helping to envision, launch and build the company from the beginning.

She worked with DJ and Karianna in a previous firm they built and sold. So she is a critically important team member who knows how to build and lead teams.

Emily played D-II volleyball as a scholarship athlete, and has coached volleyball at a range of levels.

At 6’2″, you will still find her knocking the ball around the net throughout the year.

Thomas Riley

Market Director

Thomas is a Market Director at Playbook, where he brings relationships forged through playing and coaching.

Thomas played QB at the Univ. of Puget Sound, following a standout high school career.

After suffering a career ending injury, Thomas finished his college degree at the Univ. of Washington.

Thomas now coaches quarterbacks at the high school level in Seattle.

Chris Berry

Market Director

Chris serves as a Market Director at Playbook.

He works to understand the football community in a number of our markets, a skill well served by time living in diverse places like rural Texas and now in urban Washington State.

Chris played high school football and tried his hand walking on at Texas Tech.

He brings a background in strength and conditioning to his work at Playbook.

Today, he coaches high school and semi-pro football in Seattle.

Jason Rimkus

Market Director

Jason is a Market Director at Playbook Clinics, where he has brought a long career in coaching and playing football to our team.

He graduated from Pacific Lutheran Univ. where he played defensive back. He earned his M.Ed. at the University of Washington in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership.

His professional background includes serving the community as an award-winning high school teacher.

He currently coaches as a defensive coordinator for a high school team in Seattle.
